I have seen so many great back to school pictures where kids have these adorable chalkboard signs to commemorate the occasion. I always wondered where they got them or if they made them. I was thrilled to see them myself and snapped them up immediately! It is a bit late for my boys, being the end of October and one in high school while the other is in junior high, but I still plan to make them hold them on the last day and take pictures. And I will have them for when little missie starts school, though she is only 2 so that will be awhile still. There are two separate chalkboards, one for the first day, one for the last. It has the grade, how old they are, and the date. I was a little sad to see that my first day of school chalkboard had some dings in the corners. You could see the wood through them. I can easily touch them up with permanent markers or some black paint, but I was not happy to see that. The last day sign is in perfect condition though. They were well packaged, which surprises me that there was some damage to the corners. They had corner protectors over the bubble wrap, so it didn't touch the boards themselves. Yet they did have the dings in them that I noticed immediately upon taking them out. I am worried they are going to look horrible by the time little miss is ready to use them. I may have to buy more by that time.
