We have some acreage and lots of wildlife, but have never put up a hunting camera til this camera, the XTU WiFi 24MP Trail Camera. As I have never had one previously, I am unable to compare it to others. The instructions on this are lacking and I would like to see a link to a video or better instructions. We were able to muddle through the set-up and had to go back a few times to make changes, but I think we are at where we want. We have checked this a few times and it has indeed caught some of the deer on our property. At first we only had our camera set to record in 10 second increments and while longer uses more battery, I would definitely recommend a longer recording. Make sure you only use NEW batteries, and if you have rechargeable, even better. The included 32GB card made it easy to set up the camera and go. We opted for attaching the camera around the tree via the included straps, but I like that a mounting option was also included. The WiFi option I thought we would use more often but my husband finds it to be annoying. If you press the on button onto your phone, you can connect via WiFi to view recordings. He would prefer bluetooth so he does not have to leave his current WiFi, as it always makes him manually reconnect to our house WiFi. Overall, this is still a good camera, it just takes a little time to get through the set-up and figure things out. The picture quality is on par with what we expected and we are satisfied with this purchase.
