~ What ~
With 120 colorful designs and 2 pairs of children’s scissors, this paper set helps children 3 years and older learn how to effectively use scissors. Measuring 5.5 by 5.5 inches, the thin cut-out papers have designs of the A-Z alphabet, cute animals, numbers, fruits, and a wide variety of common objects. The two pairs of 5.3 by 2.4 inch plastic training scissors include yellow springs to make them easier to operate. All arrive in a cellophane pouch, ready for using or giving.
~ Why ~
I am always looking for crafts to do when our grandkids visit from out of state, so this will be perfect next month for our almost-4-year-old granddaughter. I like that some of the pictures can be folded in half to cut, making it take less time (especially because there is a dotted line on where to fold the paper). The scissors have a blunt tip with no sharp blades so are safe for preschoolers.
~ Why Not ~
Some might not like cutting projects as they can be boring, yet these are great for beginning crafters. Others might want simpler or more complex designs, but there is a wide range in the pack. Some of the designs are more intricate than others so may be more challenging for beginners. The papers are thin, not thick or cardstock.

~ Wish ~
I wish the papers were arranged in the pack face up and in color or design sections, but this is not a deal breaker.
~ Want ~
If your toddler to preschooler is antsy to start using scissors and you are wary of them getting hurt, this kit is the ideal training craft to help them learn how to cut paper.
