handy in the kitchen

I keep this little trash can on my countertop near the sink. I toss some fruit and vegetable scraps in it during the day as I am preparing meals. Then at night, it take the can out and feed the scraps to my chickens. The can is stainless steel so it will not stain or hold in odors. I give it a quick wash and dry with a towel. It can also be used with liner bags to make clean up even easier. The swing top makes it easy to toss in items as I go and it keeps the contents hidden from view. It is about 6 inches tall and about 4 1/2 inches in diameter so it barely takes up any space but will hold quite a bit of scraps for me. This trash can is very handy in the kitchen.
