Pretty earbuds

For being a $9.99 set of earbuds, these are some of the better ones we have had amongst the numerous types we have tried. I am very happy with how these have performed and the sound they produce. But I'll get in to that within the remainder of the review.

In the package you get the earbuds and various replacement tips to help you pick the right one for comfort, but no case to carry it all in. I have had earbuds like these in the past that just looked and felt cheap, but these look nice and don't feel like they are going to fall apart after a few uses. They have a very long cable for them to use, far longer than any other earbuds we have had. But the cable/wire is the plastic kind and I don't like that kind because it tends to crack and peel after so long.

The outside of them is a pretty blue (though you can also buy it in red which is equally as pretty or a black which looks more like a clear grayish color rather than black) and has the shape of cut glass, like diamond patterning. It gives them a nice appearance. It is made of a plastic, but I don't think it is cheap necessarily because they haven't fallen apart or cracked, and my kids can be very rough on their earbuds.

They are easy to use with decent sound quality - not the greatest if you compare them to the high end and super expensive types of earbuds, but far better than some others we have used. Despite the negative reviews on Amazon (and there are only two of them), they actually work pretty good and the sound quality is better than some of the ones I have paid far more for at local retailers and on Amazon. They have a built in mic somewhere, though I have no clue where it is hidden (I suspect in an earbud, but am honestly not sure). It works great for letting the boys talk on their Xbox Live accounts when they are playing games like Fortnite or Apex Legends. We didn't test these out for phone calls, so I am not sure how well they work for that. But since they work fine for communicating over gaming networks, I am assuming they work fine for phone calls.

My youngest claimed these for himself and so far he has had no problems with them and said they don't mind using them again in the future if we need to buy some more. He likes the look of them and the sound quality is perfect for his needs. And after a few weeks of using them they still haven't broken!
