This chair is made exceptionally well. The frame is made of durable metal and the actual seat is made of a heavy canvas material. I like the fact that the chair is nice and wide. The chair does not sit low to the ground like some folding chairs do. I believe a larger built person would be comfortable in this chair because it is so roomy and the steel frame and canvas are so sturdy. This is a really nice chair. I would purchase it again.
