The rechargeable personal blender has a built-in 4000mAh rechargeable battery power source to allow you to use the smoothie maker on the go! *Requires 3hr charge time prior to first use.
The bottom base of the unit is where the blades are located. The bottom of the travel bottle has a removable cap to allow you to use with the main base unit. You would need to place the top lid on the travel glass bottle, invert the whole unit then unscrew from the base and add the bottom screw cap.
While I like the versatility when it comes to travel and recharging capabilities, I believe this unit as a whole is a little to much hassle for something that is supposed to be portable.
Otherwise its a great unit for a small blender that you can take places and can be charged via a power bank or other USB power source.
