I originally bought these to give to my 7 year old, who is delayed in fine motor skills, but then decided they would make a great Christmas present. I did end up taking them out and seeing how well they were made and how well they held up. They're your typical solid wood wooden blocks and the paint didn't cheap from the falling and knocking over which is a plus!
