My 3-star review is solely for the honesty of the seller in letting me know that my order was likely lost in transit. Therefore the seller agreed to return my payment for this item and it was refunded to my account for the amount that I paid. The deduction of stars is based on the fact that when we as consumers pay any amount of our hard earned income to purchase a product, whether it is purchased at full price or a discounted rate, it is expected that once we exchange the payment for the product, the product WILL arrive. When it never shows up it's as if a promise was broken I guess you could say.
There are dishonest sellers out there who would work to avoid issuing a refund and then there are the more honest sellers who quickly work to right a wrong, I feel this seller is the latter of the two and for that reason I chose not to give a 1-star review for this situation that occurred.
I'm not 100% sure the mermaid blanket was ever truly shipped out to me. The tracking information was never updated even once after the item was posted as shipped. The tracking number did not link me to any further information and it was never said to have been received by the carrier. I am choosing to take the sellers word.
I would just say to always use your best judgment when purchasing items from a third party seller. Almost always it turns out well as it did for me with this situation. However, I know there are unpleasant experiences that occur and that there are times when things don't go as smoothly as they did in my case. Read reviews like this one, Check up on a sellers history if you need reassurance, And sometimes when an offer feels too good to be true, that may just be the case! Know that in instances where you feel you have been wronged you are able to report it to be investigated further to Amazon. Similarly, If a promotional code you have received as a member of such sites as, #Viralix AKA #Rankboosterreview, feels to be a scam or if you have an awful experience with a seller, you will almost always be provided a way to report those types of issues. Often you can find a link to the contact us section in order to get help and/or advice.
These communities hope to provide positive experiences to consumers. Most of them honestly care about the people who are members of their site as well as the sellers, to whom they offer a platform for promoting their products. They want positive interactions and experiences for both the consumer membership base and the sellers. When in doubt, reach out! As cheesy as that is to say when you're unsure of something it's best to communicate the issue or question! Reach out if you have an important question that you can't find your answer to in the faq's section. In my opinion, you should also reach out if you have a poor experience with a promotion received from the website. I am of the belief that It's better to be safe than sorry.
I hope this blog post is helpful to others in some way to someone!
I wish all of my fellow shoppers out there lots of good luck and never-ending positivity!
