Unimpressive, knock-off

I really wanted to like this dress. But it didn't live up the pictures at all. Design-wise, it matches the pictures from about the knees to the chest. The waist fits, the middle is accommodating, from a Large to a maternity size. The bust overlaps beautifully just like in the picture. But then everything else just disappoints. 

First of, theres is a lot of elatic around the neck. So much so it sticks out because there is a section on mine that is sewnnpast the neckline. Then there's the fabric. The whole dress is made out a material that reminds me of a T-shirt, a very thin one. As a result, the bust is very see-through on one side, not the opaque look you see in the pictures. The bottom of the dress is really see-through. So basically whatever you wear underneath will be seen even if it's not backlit. As far as the gorgeous way the dress spreds out at the bottom? This fabric will not do that. 

The real problem is that this doesn't seem to be the original dress, which is much more expensive with the exact same pictures. And everything about it screams it too. Even with a 60% off coupon, I believe I paid too much. The customer service was lacking as well. It's going back.
