These colanders are the perfect size to wash fruits veggies, and even to strain 8 oz of pasta. They are lightweight and dishwasher safe. I like the fact that they fold up and nest together so that they store very compactly. I only wish they were in an assortment of sizs in the set as opposed to all one size.
