My cousin is weening her baby off milk and onto solid food but doesn't currently have a food processor so when I saw this rechargeable mini food blender I thought I'd get it, try it and gift her it if I thought it would be suitable.
The blender comes with a spare stainless steel blade, a cleaning brush and USB to USB type C recharging cable and an user manual. The blender weighs about 400g and separates into 2 parts, the bowl and the lid with the built in motor and battery, The bowl is made of food grade transparent plastic with a 250ml capacity and 3 anti-slip rubber feet on base. When the bowl has the lid fitted the whole mini blender only measures13.5 cms diameter x 9 cms height so it is very portable and because it's battery powered can be used anywhere indoors or outdoors adding to it's versatility. The built in 1500 mAh battery takes about 2 hours to fully charged and then gives about 35 x 30 seconds bursts of blending. There is only a charging cable supplied so you have to use your own power source such as a power bank, USB ports on laptops / games consoles, phone chargers etc.
After charging the blender I decided to use it to chop up some peanuts. the length of time you need the blender to operate depends on the amount and hardness of the food you are blending. If used for on something like nuts the longer you operate the blender the finer the cut and the shorter you blend the more coarse the cut. As you can see from the video the blender was able to chop peanuts so blending foods baby will be easy for this blender so I will be giving it to my cousin.
