Amazing how this works

My brother was super impressed by the odd magic of my defrosting tray when I told him about getting one for my parents for Christmas, so I have been looking for another one for awhile that I could snag for him, too. The tray is better than my previous one AND the one I got for my parents. This tray is flat on top except for a small groove down the center of it, though the back of it has lots of grooves, too (and works just as good as the smooth side!). But it could still be improved upon in design if it had some lips around the edges to catch any run off that might come during defrosting. I always put mine in my sink then put my meat on it to defrost, that way any blood or anything else can run off in to the sink and down the drain. I was super impressed with how much faster this melted an ice cube than my own tray. We did a comparison between my tray and his and though both did a great job, his was still faster, regardless of which side we used. It should work wonders for him!
