I have steadily been making my garden larger every year. A basil pot turned into an herb bed. A single tomato plant has turned into a whole row, and so on. Last year I must have had the magic touch with my tomatoes because they outgrew their cages quickly and just kept on growing. I needed supports for them and if only I had pictures of all the sticks, poles, wire coat hangers, tape, and everything else I had rigged up to keep these huge plants upright everyone would be laughing right now. I know I need to do something different this year, so I bought more cages to double stack them and when I came across these plant hooks I knew I needed to try them.
There are 100 in a pack so I figured that should be more than enough to get started on a small garden. When they first arrived I thought they were too small to clamp onto a tomato cage, but they easily slip on and hold a tight grip. They can also attach to one another to make a larger loop. It is still winter so I haven't had a chance to try these with actual plants, but I am looking forward to the chance to have a more professional looking garden this year with these hooks that will hold my plants in place and I don't have to worry about them coming off. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
