Great Multi-Function Rechargeable Radio Which Is Ideal To Keep In The Car Or House For Emergencies

This multifunctional radio would be useful for people who like outdoor pursuits  like camping, hiking, fishing etc or equally useful to keep in the home or car as an emergency radio. It comes in a box along with a manual, warranty card and USB to micro USB charging cable.

This radio has a built in rechargeable Li-ion battery battery that can be charged up from a solar panel, from an external power source such as a power bank, phone charger or laptop's USB port.or a built in crank handle dynamo which usefully can be used to charge up smaller devices like phones or MP3 players. Alternatively if the internal battery is flat and there is no sun and you don't want to crank the dynamo you can insert 3 x AA batteries to power the radio.

This radio is made from green plastic measures  5 cm x 7cm x 15 cm.and comes with a wrist strap and has a built in LED flashlight which would make it doubly useful in an emergency.   The radio is easy to use as the controls are reassuringly old fashioned and a slider switch to select the FM or AM wavelength band, a slider switch to choose the power source the rechargeable built in battery or the AAA batteries. There is a 3.5mm headphone socket and the radio also uses knobs for station tuning and volume which keeps everything simple. 

The sound quality from the single small speaker gives an acceptable sound quality and volume and the telescopic aerial ensures that it tunes into many stations depending on the signal strength in the area.I think that this is a good little multifunctional radio bought to keep in my home as an emergency radio in case there are power cuts and am happy with all the other functions this radio can perform.
