I hate coming home in the dark, but don't necessary want to announce when I'm not home by leaving the light on all day.!I leave the switches in the on position when I leave for work and the bulbs come on when it gets dark. They go off automatically at dawn. This was an easy and economical solution to the problem. These are perfect to make it look as if someone is home all of the time. The light that it gives off is very bright, but warm and they illuminate the porch and deck areas nicely.
