Great for birdbath and little home fountain.

Works beautifully, however, water evaporates more quickly in the birdbath than without the fountain so need to fill birdbath 3 times a day. Also, really need the fountain to work at night when mosquitoes are more active which this fountain does not work full night. If you want a fountain to work past 7 PM, you need to find another type of fountain. This tiny thing works okay but only when the sun is shining directly onto the little solar panel. The battery backup gives it power for another couple of hours. I got this for my two red foot tortoises. They seem to love. If it’s a cloudy day it spirts here and there. In full sun water spout gets high maybe a foot 1/2 -2 feet. Tried to capture different spirts from tiny with shade or clouds to full sun. This little fountain packs a big punch. With 4 different nozzles, you can change up the way it looks. It floats around and my tortoise seems to like it. The only slight problem takes some work to suction in place if you don't want it to float around and in direct sunlight, it can spray water out of the container.
