replace those disposable cotton rounds

I was using those disposable cotton rounds from the drugstore and knew that there had to be a better way to remove dirt or makeup from my face. They were costing me a lot of money and creating more trash for our landfills. I was searching for a reusable makeup remover pad and found these. The set comes with 4 pads and a drawstring mesh laundry bag. Each pad had a silk ribbon hanging tag and a strap to keep the pad securely on my hand.

I like that the seam is a hidden seam so that it doesn’t scratch or irritate my skin. The pads are made of bamboo and microfiber material. Each pad is approximately five inches long and three-and-a-half inches wide. The makeup pads only need water to clean but you can also use your favorite cleanser. When they get soiled, put them in the mesh bag and throw them in the laundry. The pads are super soft and double layered. One pad can replace up to 1500 disposable cotton rounds.

The pads do come in a pretty, decorative box for gift giving but mine were shipped directly in the deco box without any outer box or packaging. The mailing labels where stuck on the deco box and the box was quite damaged which made it impossible to present it in the original giftable packaging.
