It is time to introduce little missie to some activities that will help her develop her fine motor skills. This bead lacing set is going to be one of the first activities we work on. The package comes with a small drawstring pouch that stores everything, plenty of large plastic beads in all shapes and colors, and two sets of lacing strings. You will have to tie a knot in the end of the strings that is large enough that the beads don't slip off, but you have plenty of long lacing to work with for lots of fun beading and fine motor skill development. I got this for her to use after Christmas, planning it to be a gift for her. She will be about 2 1/2 at that point, so should be almost ready to begin working on activities like that and I plan for her to be ready. Great set, though I am used to seeing lacing beads that are made out of painted wood, not plastic.
