This butter dish is very well made and so cute. It is a fun way to keep our butter clean and on the counter for convenience for the family to access. We always have a gooey clear crystal butter dish with lid that the kids wind up making a mess with, but with this nice new butter dish there is no mess and the fruit gnats that get in the house from product purchased at the outdoor venues can no longer get into the butter, keeping it clean for healthy kids. I love the magnet that holds the butter knife onto the lid, but I do have one suggestion - the bamboo cutout for the butter knife is too tight and the kids can't get the butter knife out by themselves - perhaps cut the opening a little wider. Other than that, we love the new butter dish!
