Helped clear my ears

This product has allowed me to address an issue that I was pretty sure I’d have to see a doctor about. I have a habit of falling asleep with my AirPods in my ears. Bad habit! This otoscope allowed me to carefully remove an enormous mass of wax that had accumulated in one of my ears.

I started by putting some drops of hydrogen peroxide in one of my ears. Kept my head tilted sideways for 20 minutes. You’ll feel and hear all the little oxygen bubbles as the peroxide goes to work on the wax. I rinsed with clean warm water using an ear bulb, and then repeated. Later in the day, I used the otoscope to carefully remove the wax that had been loosened up. It was substantial! The trick is to go SLOWLY and carefully. Stop and take a break. You can always go back for more, but you certainly don’t want to do any damage in their while rushing.

I’m hoping this helps address some tinnitus I’ve been suffering from lately. But I can say just a few minutes after the cleaning that my ears no longer have that unpleasant full feeling and I can hear better.

If you’re having trouble using the otoscope, try rotating it gently until the movements make sense to you.
