This is an automatic touchless hand sanitizer dispenser. It is ideal for use in an area where a number of people enter or gather, such as a classroom, office, etc. It can also be used to dispense liquid hand soap in the bathroom or kitchen. It uses a passive infrared (IR) motion sensor mounted below the spray nozzle (see the small oval window in picture). When your hand is in the proper position, the unit will dispense a metered amount of liquid. It is powered by 4-AA batteries, which will last for months.
We purchased this unit for use at my lodge entry door for use by members. It will work great! One note: it is top-heavy until you fill the reservoir with liquid sanitizer or soap, so it is possible to knock it over by accident. So make sure you keep the reservoir at least partially filled to avoid problems.
