Temperamental

These lights are smaller than expected but very bright.They attach to wall easily with everything supplied.At first I thought they didn’t work but they only work in dim/no light I placed one on back steps and one in hall ,where there is very little light.They do work,turning on when me or one of pets approached BUT they are very temperamental often not turning on so I would think battery gone but then as picked up to change turning on? Also even when do work only stay lit briefly.They were used for few weeks lighting very seldom and now batteries have gone.Good when work but still had to carry torch
