The only reason I purchased this was as a joke Christmas present for my wife who asked for a large microphone that would allow her to do karaoke from her phone. The instructions are all in Chineese and the wires coming off it do not allow it to be used with a phone so we have no idea of how well it works. However, considering it's small size I can't imagine it being very useful. Warning: It is so small that it could be a choking hazard for young children
