COSVII Solar Fountain for Birdbath Small Solar Water Pump for Garden, Yard, Small Pond(1.8W)
Hello guys, I just bought this COSVII Solar Fountain for Birdbath Small Solar Water Pump for Garden, Yard, Small Pond(1.8W) amazon.com and had a decent chance to play with this little fountain.
First of all, the product overall looks cool and it is perfect for an outdoor setup. Actual pump size is around 2 inches. The solar panel is around 6 inch. the cord is long enough to set the solar panel at a certain distance.
I personally like the instant power on the feature while sunlight is there. it even works pretty well moderate sunlight. The pump is powerful enough to throw water at a certain height.
It also has a different attachment for the adjustment of the water pattern.
it is to be noted that pump should be placed inside the water and I personally recommend to put it as deep as possible submerged in water So that the water pressure will have an advantage in gaining increased height of the fountain.
Product Notes:
1.8W solar panel makes higher water fountain and works efficiently. Easy to install the pump and use the fountain. Comes with different sprayer heads for squirt different water patterns. 10.8 long power cord for easily moving the solar panel and get the best sunlight. Please make sure the solar panel is not shadowed and keep the filter intake on the bottom clear of debris

OPERATION GUIDE
1.Set up the pump nozzles and do not put the top spray head on.
2. Put the pump totally in the water with its nozzle over the water. (Water should be clean without too much debris)
3. Put solar panel under enough sunshine and be better to face directly to the sun.
4. Let the pump work without spray head for seconds to let the air go out of the pump.
5. Put on the spray head, then the water flow will be high if the solar panel exposed to enough sunlight.
CAUTION!!!
Under the 3 conditions, the solar pump might not work.
*Solar panel is in shadow.
*Solar panel is dirty.
*The pump outlet is clogged by debris in the water.
MAINTENANCE
1. Don't make the pump work without water for a long time, or its lifespan will be shortened.
2. Always keep the solar panel dry and clean.
3. Clean the pump regularly especially the water outlet and spray caps to prevent it from getting stuck.
4. Change water frequently to keep water clean to avoid any dirt to impede the pump.
