I thought this would be a lot easier to travel with, and I was very happy with that choice. It is a lot easier then trying to tote around your Nintendo switch base when you need to charge it. I also like that you can have game-play with it plugged in. It has made things a lot more convenient when it comes to my kids taking the Nintendo switch with them, or even if they want to play it and it needs to be plugged in. Its a great accessory to have if you have the Nintendo switch.
