I bought this to replace a waterproof housing for my GoPro, but I also recently ended up buying another action camera (offbrand) and decided to try it out with this housing.
Both cameras that I tried fit in the housing just fine, because the housing closes together so tight, that it holds the cameras inside with no room to move around. This is perfect in my case, as I have an offbrand camera that the housing was not designed for, yet the housing worked fine for it.
It held up perfectly with my GoPro as well, so I'm very happy with this purchase!
