When I was reading the description "no batteries or electricity" required, I had to have this food chopper and try it out! I don't mind cooking. I actually enjoy it but all the food prepping (dicing, chopping, mincing, etc.) gets time consuming so anything that can make my job easier, I want to try it.
I was really fascinated by the "pull string" design of this food chopper. It is a manual, hand held chopper and works by a pulling the string at the top and it does the work! I never heard of this before so I was a little skeptical that it could really chop vegetables but I've tried it and it works! It chops vegetables evenly and the vegetables at the bottom don't come out soggy or too minced like they do in my other electric chopper. The blades on this chopper are in a staggered pattern so this could have something to do with it.
