Since last year's hurricane season we have an unstable power grid and even on a good day we have PTSD when it comes to electricity. And even though this bulbs are not solar powered or rechargeable it gives my husband peace of mind when he thinks of his mother's home and the fact that this light bulb goes on and off by itself means her stairs and entrance is always illuminated.
