I would give these 4 stars because while it says these are Diatomite Stone, the ones I received did not look like stone at all. They had a marble look finish in two different pink tones and two different blue tones. This set of 4 coasters are pretty to look at and about 1/4 inch in thickness. The edges are not sealed or finished off in anyway. The top and bottom have a glossy look.
