This belt snaps around the first belt loops on both sides of the pants. The elastic pulls and hold your pants up without a belt buckle in the front.
I love this because I have always had a tummy that gets pinched by belt buckles when I sit. Yeah I hate to admit it but it's true. So I hated wearing belts until this one.
Also with fluctuating weight, my pants are always saggy or even falling down if I don't catch them in time. It's never happened but came close a couple of times when my hands were full at the same time my pants were slipping! haha True.
I love these belts!! They solved my problems like a champ!
The elastic is good quality too.
This is a great belt for people who flux in weight as I do or just don't like buckles.
But you don't really need my reasons to wear this belt either. It's just a good belt and it doesn't have the belt buckle bulge, so it gives you a flat, neater look.
Highly recommend.
