Very easy to set up!

So let me give you a little history about the reason for this purchase. I bought this gas sensor because usually when I leave and come back home I smell gas in my home.  Not only that, I can be just sitting in my room and one of my children will come in the room and I will smell gas.  I thought I was going to have to call the gas company.  We have found that it is usually that my grand daughter has walked through the kitchen to get to my room and along the way she has turned the knob on the stove.  Bless her heart she is 1 everyone.  Yet it is dangerous, because the knob is not turned enough to ignite the pilot but enough to release the gas.  We just figured this out today.  I ordered the gas detector a few days ago though.  It came today and I plugged it up this morning.  It went off this afternoon and we went in the kitchen.  This was the third time the knob was slightly turned and we figured out it was her.  She does that a sometimes and I have to tell her no, and explain the oven is hot and not to touch it.  Thanks to the alarm going off, the smell did not get as loud as it usually gets.  Even though nobody ever smells it like I do.  They think I am crazy, until that alarm went off today.  I will definitely be buying another for my laundry room where my hot water heater sits.
