~ What ~
Made of 100% polyester silk, this set of 2 pillowcases can be purchased in 8 color options, 3 sizes. With the dimensions of 20-by-26-inches, the standard ordered was in the tan or gold color. Its soft fabric is on both sides with no zipper but a fold-over flap. The cases can be machine washed and put in the dryer.

~ Why ~
I love sleeping on silk and use a silk pillowcase nightly to help with my aging skin. I like how both cases are soft to the touch, chemical-free, and hypoallergenic as I do have allergy issues. The stitching is even with no loose threads. I appreciate the fabric is on both sides, unlike others that only have the silky fabric on one side.

~ Why Not ~
Some may not like the softness and silkiness of silk, although it feels wonderful against the skin. Others may struggle to get a pillow inside as it is slippery, but I had no problems inserting my “water” pillow (yes, a filled pillow of water that can be altered).
