I liked them too much to give to the kIds

I had initially bought this set of walkie talkies for my 2 nieces to play with. I opened them to test them out the day they were delivered and I was impressed at just how well they pick up being sold for children. For the price, I didn't really expect to have more range than the length of my home. I live down a very long dirt road in the middle of a citrus grove. I was able to communicate clearly with my boyfriend when he made it to the highway nearly a quarter of a mile away. I am not sure just how far we could have gotten away but that was more than I expected. We used them in the house for several months. When my sons were in their room with the television on, they came in quite handy ad's we got a little spoiled to using them instead of walking across the house.

We used them when Hurricane Irma went through. ** HOURS of harsh winds and nasty storms **  They were invaluable to us. We lost part of our roof in a twister and if we didn't have them with us, I  may not have been able to all get everyone together in time to hide. I am so very glad I bought these.
