Interesting design

I am still on the hunt for a pocketknife that my son can use. He has smaller hands, so finding a knife that he can use on his Boy Scout trips doesn't seem to be the easiest thing. I thought this might work, but then when I opened it up I figured it isn't going to work for him after all. It doesn't look like most pocketknives, having a Tanto edge on it. But I will see what he thinks regardless. So much for it being a christmas gift for him.
