Okay. Maybe I should have read the info closer because this thing is mammoth and somehow I missed that. 
All that said, this is an excellent electric kettle. The water really stays hot for a long time, and it's speedier than my other kettle, which was far more expensive. I've brought it to work to encourage myself to drink tea instead of snacking - first day and I drank almost a liter of tea! Really excited to try using this every day to increase my wellness.
