Super cute highlighters

  The other day I was looking for a highlighter and coudlnt' find any. I even went into the other room where all of my old school supplies are and our extra office types of products - nothing! The only onesI found were crusty and dried up. I know I have bought highlighters recently, and for sure over the past few years, yet not a single one could be found. UNTIL the kids got home. And then I found a few in their backpacks. I realized I have highlighter thiefs!   So my solution? Buy girlie looking ones in cute novelty prints that I can keep on my desk. I saw these and loved the look. I figured maybe it would be a better solution than buying dollar store highlighters and having them go missing again. And yay for success so far! I still have each highlighter in the cup on my desk, after almost a full week! Have they not discovered them yet? Or are the cute prints not to their liking?  Who knows. All I know is I have highlighters I can use again.   These are not locally made highlighters, as evidenced by some of the foreign characters on them. But they work great, regardless of the language! They are absolutely adorable. I love the prints on the outsides and the bright colors. It matches my personality perfectly! It almost reminded me of things I used to like to get when I was younger and the Sanrio store at the mall was my favorite place to visit.   And I am not displeased with the performance either. The tips are hard enough to create straight lines of highlighting while remaining soft enough to wrap around the text you want to highlight without forcing it. The colors are bright enough to do their job - highlighting - without hiding them. Some highlighters I have are so dark that I am not able to easily read the words I want to bring out and while I love the colors, I can't use them. Not the case with these. I am loving them so far.   I also like the fact that they have the colored highlighter on one end and the yellow highlighter on the other. Both sides of the pen have a highlighter! I was not expecting this. I thought it was only going to be the colored end. Having the yellow on the opposite side is like a surprise bonus!   Very happy with these so far.
