I use mine in the kitchen. There are 3 different colors so i can use ceartian plugs for certian projects. I try to keep the stuff i use for my reptiles and amphibians different from the people things. This drain catcher does collect the food scraps that get washed into it. The edge does not lay super flat on sink botton so there is a slit bump the scrap needs to get over.
