Back in November, my brother, who is an amateur photographer, took family photos of my family, my sister's family, and all of us together. It was a Christmas gift for my mom. Though my husband and I have been married for 8 years, we have no family photos. We kept talking about wanting to go get pictures done, so this was the perfect opportunity. We have all of the digital prints on my computer, some still needing some more editing and retouching, but didn't have frames to put them in. I know exactly where they will hang in my house, so need to get them finished up now that I am collecting frames. This 11x14 frame is going to be the centerpiece for our photo collection and will hang on the wall above my computer desk and couch. I have some smaller 8x10 frames and a few5x7 frames that match it that I plan to arrange around it, but need to finish up the photos so that we can take them somewhere to get them printed out. The frame is not top quality, but it is not cheap like some of the others I have picked up. It has a decent black frame and can be hung or stood up. It comes with a thin mat on the inside so you can use it with an 8x10 photo, but I plan to use it without the mat and with an 11x14 photo. I do think I will replace the plexiglass window with actual glass, though, just so it looks nicer to me. It doesn't look bad with the plexiglass, but I prefer actual glass in my frames. The others all have glass, so I want them to match and look good together once we finally get them all hung on the wall. I can't wait to get them done and printed up, but am waiting on funds before doing that since it will cost a bit more than I have currently to buy the glass and print out quality photos of those sizes.
