I needed a D-ring to use to attach my dog's leash to a bungee extension leash so I could finally get rid of the retractable leash she's outgrown. Now that she weighs 65 lbs, if she decided to take off after a rabbit all of a sudden (which she does... A LOT) there's no way that flimsy little piece of Nylon cord has any chance of stopping her. I attached this triangle D-ring to the handle of the extension that's clipped to her harness, and then clip the leash I hold to the D-ring. Voila! A SAFE leash that extends up to 10 feet so she has enough room to be a dog. These rings are much thicker and more durable than I expected, which was a nice surprise. They have held back 65 lbs of instant resistance for awhile now, without even a slight bend or any sign of the mass of hyperness that it's been holding its own against. I highly recommend these ring connectors. They aren't even phased against constant force strong enough to move me around like nothing.
