I have a lot of copper pots so I don't often use stainless steel, but I do have one deep pot that is not copper and is large enough to cook plenty of pasta, so I got this to use with that pot. The longer handle makes it so that I don't get steam burned when stirring the pasta, or when trying to get it out. The spoon picks up plenty of pasta so you won’t be forever having to spoon in more, and the hole in the middle allows all excess water to run back out and into the pot so that you don’t get watery pasta. The handle and spoon itself feel solid and there is a hook at the end so that you can conveniently hang it up when not in use. It is dishwasher safe so that it can be easily cleaned either by hand or by machine if you prefer.
