On inspection, this seems a great quality torch. It's built well, with a aluminium alloy shell and it is waterproof, rust proof, non-slip & shockproof. It uses 4 AA batteries which aren't included. To use, you simply press the large red button on the end, and the torch emits a good, powerful light beam. There are actually 5 lighting modes - high, medium, low, strobe and SOS. The head of the torch can also be extended if needed. There is apparently a heat dissipation feature too that prevents the torch from overheating, which can only be a good thing.
It's a handy torch made to a really good standard. Solid, tough and very practical, making it perfect for dog walking, fishing, emergencies etc. A sensible purchase, but it's just so good. It's so good in fact, that the kids fight over who is having it, when we go on our night time lockdown walk. It's been invaluable. I can't recommend it enough.
