These are similar to the full sized gel inserts that I have been picking up for my brother and his running friends and my husband for work since he is on his feet all day. My brother's friend is trying these out this weekend since he is running in a 24 hour run. They also have the sticky on the bottom to help keep them in place, but you don't need to trim them down to fit your shoes like you do the full inserts. I wonder if you can double up and use the full foot inserts plus the heel inserts for double the padding or if that would be overkill (and uncomfortable). Just a thought. But regardless, if you have heel pain and need some extra cushioning to help make things more comfortable when walking and standing (or exercising and running), these work great. (Plus they make you slightly taller, though not much.) Definitely comfortable to stand on and wear for activities.
