This is a very practical and versatile combined backpack briefcase, which my partner uses when hiking, as hand luggage on flights, and even for office use from time to time.
The bag is made from a sturdy feeling, coffee brown coloured canvas material, with a contrasting darker mocha brown coloured woven material for the shoulder straps and handles, and chocolate brown coloured leather accents for the fastening straps and zip tags, etc.
There are two equal sized protruding pockets at the front of the bag, which are each big enough for a couple of coke cans. The front of each of these pockets has a separate compartment that’s large enough for a small wallet, but not quite big enough for a smart ‘phone like an iPhone 7. Directly above each of the two pockets is another compartment, which is big enough to store something like an iPhone. The two pockets and the other four compartments are accessed by chunky zips that work well and feel like they ought to stand the test of time.
The bag has two main compartments, one at the front where I can store my iPad and an A4 sized notepad, etc., and a larger one to the rear that’s divided into two sections. The rear section is thickly padded and ideal for the storage of a tablet up to about 12 inches in size. Both compartments are accessed through more of the chunky zips, which work reliably and smoothly.
There are two generously padded and adjustable shoulder straps at the rear of the bag, which can be stowed away in a secret compartment at the back of the bag. You can hide away important business and travel documents in this rear compartment when you’re using the bad as a rucksack or as a briefcase, etc.
My partner and I like that this item of luggage is so highly versatile. It’s smart enough looking that he can take it to his office job, rugged enough that it’s perfect for long walks in the countryside, and compact enough to take on board with you for short haul flights. It’s a multi-functional travel tool that he finds invaluable and I have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
