I bought this pillow to put between my knees when I sleep.  All of my joints really hurt this time of year, and this pillow is so soft but not bulky.  To get a pillow soft enough to cushion my knees, I would have to have a big fluffy pillow and it would be bulky.  This is just what I needed and is perfect because it is  contoured.
