Fishing for fresh trout is a popular sport here and I was looking for a new way to cook it to bring it to a whole new level of taste and I think I now found it. It was delicious and a great way to serve it. I squeezed a bit of lemon juice on the native trout while cooking it on the Tker Himalayan Salt Block and it was delicious. It's a beautiful marble rose and is eye-popping when served to guest. They all loved it.
The two blocks measure 8"x4"x1" I was able to cook two 7" and 8" brook trout on each one. These were small brookies so the blocks worked great for this. Next, I'd like to get some really long ones so I can cook and serve lake trout on them. To clean them I used the other half of the lemon and table salt to rub lightly then rinsed them clean. I then dried them thoroughly. I am really pleased with this product and can't wait to try more recipes using these Tker Himalayan Salt Blocks.
