I homeschool my daughter so I am always looking for items that are both educational and fun to play with. I purchased this set of pattern blocks for her to use during her studies and during her free time. The set comes with 230 pieces of different shapes, 24 pattern design cards and a drawstring storage bag. The pieces are wooden and painted in bright colors. The cards give kids a visual picture of things than can be built and shows them which blocks to use to create the pattern.

I use these to teach my daughter about completing a pattern, how to recognize and name different shapes, colors and to allow her to express creativity by building her own unique designs. Each of the pieces range in size from about 1-2 inches and are smooth without sharp edges. This are recommended for ages three and up. These also work well with some of the printable pages that I find online. These are a must buy for your little learners!
