I love these sort of lights, and this is my second USB one... although have to admit I got it plugged into a USB mains socket. :)
Very easy to operate, and the strip remembers what setting you had set it to (for when turning it off and on again). Only three switches. One for the various effects, one for single colour. The middle button has a few uses: Long press fo turning it on an off, short press when on effects to increase/decrease speed, and short press when on single colour to dim/brighten.
The issue with this specific one though is that the four pin connector is really loose. Have tried to secured it with tape, yet it still sometimes gets loosened (not ideal for me, as I got it behind a desk, and a bit fiddly to get to where the buttons are).
