Warm and fuzzy

It doesn't get cold enough for us to really use gloves here and I have never used mittens before, usually thinking of them as being something for younger children. But I thought why not pick up a pair to add to my large collection of winter items we may one day actually need and use? These are thick and well made. They are definitely warm, though I can't say how warm they would be outside in a super cold environment. Our weather has barely gotten in to the 60s during the days and low 40s at night, so it is definitely not cold enough to really use them here. Plus I have no clue how they work with the long connecting strand that keeps them from getting lost. I told you I have never used mittens. I would personally cut that off and get it out of my way, risking losing one or the other at some point. I love the lining on the inside. They are knitted so would not be waterproof though, so not good for snow play. But cute and thick. And they were big enough for my long fingers, leaving me plenty of room to move and not feeling confined.
