I took swim lessons when I was a young girl and I've known how to keep myself afloat and alive since. I've always had trouble getting my arms and legs to be in sync with each other though.
When using this pull buoy, I placed it between my legs and it kept the lower half of my body elevated in the water, while I was able to practice my arm movements.
While using the pull buoy, I was able to teach myself how to move my arms in the water and it was also a great upper body work out. It was comfortable to use and held my weight great. I even let my oldest child use it and it worked great for her.
